Truck numbers 115 and 116 have just hit the road in the Garden Grove Haulage Fleet. The two new Kenworth T909 Director Series trucks are an impressive sight on the road, and a huge asset to the GGH Fleet. GGH115 ‘Double Trouble’ will be towing our super-high-capacity B-Double Walking Floor – perfect for those extra-large landscape loads with a carrying capacity of up to 150 cubic metres.  GGH116 ‘Living Legend Lives On’ will be Haulage’s ‘Outback Runner’, covering everywhere from the Southern-most point of SA to the tip of the NT, the far outback of Qld and WA and everywhere in between. Our proud drivers Troy Johnson and Mark Tregeagle are thrilled with their new trucks.

Troy has been driving for GGH since 2007 and is a Kenworth Man through and through! “I love the new T909 it’s got so much more room to move around in the cab, the bed is great, the seat is great and the interior layout great. It all helps to keep me fresh, alert and fatigue free on the long runs,” says Troy.

Mark Tregeagle was GGH’s first driver, having been with the company since its inception in 1996. Mark’s last truck (a 2009 Kenworth K108) was named ‘Living Legend’ in honour of Mark’s dedication to the company, driving skills, amazing mechanical knowledge and for being an all-round ‘top bloke’.  The name was carried on for the new rig as ‘Living Legend Lives On.’ Mark is most at home in the dusty dry outback, revelling in regular runs to Darwin, Kununurra and Mt Isa.
